Admin Policy
Version One
November 15, 2008

Section 1: Declaration of Policy
Let it be known the policies for selecting administrators and the rules by which all administrators must follow. This information shall be made available to all members of the Diehard Forums.

Section 2: Qualifications of Administrator.
In the event of proving to be a proper moderator and an active member, a moderator may be put up for approval for administrative duties. The moderator must be a moderator for at minimum one full year before being considered for administrative duties.

Section 3: The Creation of New Administrators.
Once a moderator has been proven to be ready for administrator duties, an administrator may choose to make a motion that the moderator become an administrator. This administrator must do this in a poll which will run for seven (7) days in the admin private forum and carries the following choices: Yes or No. After seven (7) days, the choice that has the majority vote will be the official position of the administrators for a minimum of one month. This month will act as a trial period for the new administrator if they are voted in but also give them a second chance if they are not. If they are not chosen after two votes, the process can start again in one year.

Section 4: Duties of the Administrators.
Administrators must maintain board integrity, keep the members in check, perform forum maintenance, and update the message board's design if they so wish. Any and all changes must be made only after informing other administrators of their decision through a majority vote. Administrators may also make amendments to the policies outlined in the policies/rules forum but must not change the content of the base policy.

All Administrators must take the concerns and suggestions of all members seriously. Administrators must not take credit for an idea created by someone else. All members may be allowed to contact an administrator for any reason and not be retaliated against for their concerns.
