Ok, here's some details about me, the founder of Diehard.

I started with the Trespasser Community in December of 2001 when it was known as the Diehard Forums. They were hosted at http://diehard.ath.cx/board. These forums have been down for around 3-4 years now. Here's a list of my contributions to the Trespasser Community:

1. During the days before joining the Diehard boards, I made a series of maps of the geothermal power plant for Remdul based on the screen shots I found on Remdul's Pine Valley site.

2. First model I ever made was a simplistic version of the SS Minnow from Gilligan's Island. This fact led to Rebel adding an SS Minnow life ring to TC-Isle.

3. I was the first person to identify the Cooling Tower in Pine Valley's Geothermal Plant. I did this in my first thread.

4. Rebel was first to notice my attention to detail. Others eventually followed suit. I used this to help find details in hard to see low resolution images.

5. I theorized that rain may be possible by editing a billboard to have a rain texture while keeping the always face script. Using the minilev I imported a billboard with two textures, rain and an opacity. I then added the values given to the ocean. However the opacity loaded inverted and the texture did not animate. I gave up my experiments at this point. Remdul, who had been watching my progress, continued the work and released his version of the rain in the TC-Test Level.

6. I was the first to request a Go to LOC option as well as a Find Object function. Others agreed that these would be good features. Andres implemented these as "Go to Location" and "Find and Replace."

7. After GeomAdd's release there was a myth that Trespasser wouldn't render objects with more than 300 faces. I was the first to import a model with more than 300 faces. This model, a first generation Ford Explorer, contained 1,100 polygons.

8. I found two articles that helped contribute to the Terrain editing features of TresEd, as did many members at the time. Andres recieved a decent amount of material to learn the basics of the WTD formats.

9. I was the first person to announce a plan to make a mod for Trespasser. This announcement came during a time when TresComers had to use bmp files for terrain and had no terrain edit option. First screenshots were from an edited JR level with Lab warehouses. The project is still around and is known as Jurassic Park: Oblivion. Some might see it as the Duke Nukem Forever of Trespasser and that it's development may last until oblivion.

10. When MikeTheRaptor put together the Trespasser Sound Catalog, I went through and listed all the music that I could find. I found all but one piece, which was found later. That piece was "Hunter's Camp"

11. I was the first person to add TresCom to The Trespasser Wikipedia Article, which previously was merely a paragraph in length. It has since been expanded greatly.

12. I asked a few questions to Rolf Mohr for the Q&A session and also asked Phil Salas a couple things but he disappeared.

13. Myself and Draconisaurus teamed up to make the first Trespasser level set on Isla Nublar, this level was called "East Dock" and was released in 2007. The level utilized ATX functions, the TC-Spitting Spitter, and custom TPAs and cutscenes. It also had the first NPC, which was Draconisaurus as the BioSyn Agent.

This list of accomplishments should make me more than qualified to start a sister community. I will do my best to make this the best community that I can.

I've noticed interviews with some of the seniors going up, when do we get to ask you the contents of your fridge? (you're surely deserving of an interview), btw I think stuff like interviews with the seniors is a great idea

lol, whenever you guys can organize some questions for me then I'll be happy to.

The interviews that I posted came from the articles section at TresCom and went up sometime after the site was launched. Rebel and Wajas were owners of two of the five Trespasser sites at the time. Rebel was running Trespasser Extras and Wajas was running Trespasser City (formerly The Burroughs), both of which have fallen into the ether of the internet. The other three were madppiper's TresCom, Remdul's Pine Valley, and Project Trespasser. So out of the five sites that were around during those days only TresCom remains.
