It came to my attention that the boards we were using were largely inaccessible so I've set up a new one here! This site isn't so sensitive about adblocking.

Yes, it is of no worry, now we just have to find some other way of getting members to join. But you are right, the advantages of the new board far outweigh the disadvantages.
